CLASSES
At Shadow Combatives & Self-Defense, we offer two distinct paths: Jūjutsu for our unarmed fighting methods, and the Weapons Lab for our weapons training. Students must be ages 16+ in order to enroll in any program.
We offer two trial classes to allow you to experience our training. All trial classes must be scheduled in advance as they are by appointment only. If you are interested, please call or email the school using our contact information at the bottom of every page.

Jūjutsu: Our Jūjutsu blends traditional Japanese techniques with modern combat training. Students learn throws, joint locks, escapes, striking, ground control, and submissions, drawing from Jūjutsu, Ninjutsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, and boxing.

Fight Lab: Fight Lab is an optional 30-minute open sparring session held after each Jūjutsu class. It gives students additional time to pressure-test techniques, improve timing and distance, and gain experience against resisting partners. While it is not a separate program, it is listed separately on our class schedule.

Weapons Lab: Our Weapons Lab explores traditional martial arts weapons through practical, hands-on training. Students learn safe handling, movement, striking, defense, and partner drills with weapons such as the sword, knife, staff, spear, chains, ropes, and throwing weapons, with an emphasis on control, adaptability, and practical application.
